We often get asked what do we wear when we go to Uganda and how do people dress up over there.
Stella loves to wear her nice dresses in Uganda, and as you can see all the lovely ladies in Uganda do so as well!
A big misconception is that people think that because the people in the community we work in live in poverty they also dress poorly. However it is not the reality in Uganda.
The people in the communities we work at (Acholi Quarter in Kampala and Danida in Jinja) love to take care of their appearance and wear nice clothes.
So please if you come and visit us in Uganda, don't just bring your comfy gym and hiking outfits with you, but also your more elegant (and colorful :) ) clothes.
